Actually till date the merit based cutoff for thapar university is not in websites so its difficult for me to assure you that with such a good percentage you can get admission into thapar university with computer science branch .
As computer science branch is one of the core branches so it has high closing cutoff for the candidates to get admission.
So you might face issue while admission into computer science branch in thapar with your boards PCM merit based.

1. Based on JEE: i. has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects, namely,Physics,Mathematicsand any one subject out ofChemistry, Biology, Biotechnology andTechnical Vocational subjectOR Minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks in a Diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3-year duration.

ii. has appeared in JEE (Main)-2019.

iv. is a citizen of India.

v. has passed 10+2 examination in 2017, 2018 or appearing in 2019.

List of qualified candidates shall be displayed on the website within 10 days of last date of receipt of applications. In the final round of counselling, any seat remaining vacant through Mode-1 shall be filled through Mode-2 and vice versa. The admission shall be made on the percentile based merit of JEE Main  2019.

2.(Based on 10+2 marks in PCM) for 30% of seats

30% of the total BE/BTech seats shall be filled on the basis of merit of marks secured in 10+2 or equivalent examination in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject.

Eligibility:

The candidate

i. has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 75% marks (70% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects, namely,Physics,Mathematicsand any one subject out ofChemistry, Biology, Biotechnology andTechnical Vocational subject.

ii. possesses a good moral character.

iii. is a citizen of India.

iv. has passed 10+2 examination in 2017, 2018 or appearing in 2019.
