I am listing down the eligibility criteria of NEET 2023 below, if you fulfill that you can apply for this exam.

• Candidates must have a 10+2 or equivalent certification from a recognized board, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core courses. Those who are appearing in the 12th class can still apply for NEET 2023. You need to get at least 50% marks in 12th to be eligible for this exam for the general category.
• Candidates must be 17 years old as of December 31, 2023.

With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that since you were born in 15th august 2005, then by 15th august 2022, your age would be 17 years. So, you can apply for NEET examination in 2023.

Because the basic age limit criteria for any candidates to apply and give the NEET Examination is that the candidate must be minimum 17 years of age. Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2022 . The decision on the upper age limit is pending, so, all candidates are provisionally eligible to apply for NEET 2022. There are no restrictions on the maximum NEET attempt limit 2022.

Yes you are eligible for NEET UG 2023 as per current eligibility criteria because on December 31st 2023 your age will be more than 17 year and hence as per the age criteria you will be eligible for NEET UG 2023.

For your reference complete NEET UG eligibility criteria is given below :-

** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2023, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and by 2023 if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.
