Generally, the validity of ews certificate is 1 year.
So if it is issued in December 2020, it will be valid till December 2021.
But in case of any doubt, kindly check the dates on your certificate and also check on the official website for the same.

The validity period of Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate is valid for 1 year. Since your EWS certificate was issued in December 2020, So it is validity period is till December 2021. Till then you can get the reservation benefits of EWS sections for different exams. Later you can reach out to your local government authority (Tehsil) and after providing your parent's income proof  EWS certificate can be renewed.
