As this is the first time for EWS category so the cutoff will be slightly less than that of general category.
As per your rank you can get Medium ranked NITs such as NIT Nagpur, NIT Bhopal, NIT Surat, NIT Rourkela,etc.. but you should not expect higher branches.
You can get higher branches in the lower ranked NITs such as NIT Patna, NIT Durgapur, NIT Srinagar, NIT Goa, NITs from North-east,etc.
