We can not say anything just now because rank will matters that you get admission or not.
And this time statistics may vary a lot because of two chance given .
But 225 is a very good score you may get rank under 6-8 thousand but it can not be sure because it depends upon exam difficulty level and number of students ahead of you.
So I would suggest to score higher than this in second attempt and be in safe position and keep another choice with you also.

Firstly predict your rank by jEE mains rank predictor because the cutoff is decided by rank not with marks . For predicting your college by you jEE mains marks once go through this below link:

Then opening rank for nit trichy by jEE mains is

In home state

For obc  opening rank is 538 and closing rank is 1407


Other than home states the cutoff rank for OBC will be


Opening rank is 120  and closing rank is 370.

The above cutoff rank  is previous year's jEE mains results. Now jEE mains 2019 results are not out we can't predict this year because of applicants may increase.
