Dear Deepak, there are 2 things to this. If you are eligible under Disability quota or if at all you are eligible for JIPMER. JIPMER has only reservation for Orthopedic Physical Handicap. It doesn't mention anything about the rest of the disabilities. And so unfortunately you cant avail Reservation quota.And visual disability is neither blindness nor weakness in the eyes. Even after the correction of the refractive error, if it doesnt fall within the visual acuity. Say after all the correction measures, if your visual range does't change then it is visual deformity. But now the Court has ruled saying that even with more than 40% of disability if you get a seat under PWD quota, you cannot be denied a seat. Though JIPMER follows MCI regulations, you cannot opt under PWD status. So you can appear for JIPMER under normal category and avail any caste/religion category if you are eligible for.

IN AFMC A STUDENT SHOULD BE MEDICALLY FIT.
