Hello,

SBI is a bank operated by the Government of India in the public sector. But it does not come under the view of the state. But this isn't a position for government. It is an incentive at the Public Sector Bank, so it should not be a challenge to apply under the EWS group. But to reach them and check with them, please use the link: https:/www.sbi.co.in/web/careers/post-your-query. Kindly post your query in the above link, they will answer you as soon as possible.

If you can not present the EWS certificate when asked for, even though your candidature will not be cancelled, you will considered in the general category as document proof is required. You can tell the reason for delay, and you might have an application form for the EWS certificate. Present that along with your income certificate. Still, more chances are that you will be considered as a UR candidate .
