Hello,

Age wont be the problem as GATE exam has no particular age eligibility criteria

Candidates should have completed their Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology or Masters degree (M.Sc) in any relevant science subject or must be in the final year of the programme.
While applying for GATE 2019, there is no minimum pass percentage in the qualifying degree.
