my friend's in a general category. he's expecting 613 marks.. which colleges would he be able to get in?

Hello there,
Since you have not mentioned the name of the examination, I am assuming it to be NEET. With 613 marks, the All India Rank will be around 4500 to 6100 approximately. Since the candidate is from the general category, he has fair chances of getting a seat in government medical college with this rank. He should apply for some state counseling. Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.
