Ravi getting into the Government Institutions zone like NIT / IIT it depends upon the various parameters like your category i.e either you are from reserved or from the unreserved category , variation in the cuttoff , and the Institute in which you wish to apply for based upon the marks only you can be able to assure whether you will get or not. Overall if your rank is under 2k then you have the better chances to get into the either NIT or IIT zone .
