Apologies to be the bearer of bad news but if you are a general candidate it is very difficult for you to get a seat in m.tech via CCMT counselling. But don't feel dishearted. There are some pretty good state government colleges which donot take admission via CCMT counselling but the common factor is GATE. You can check out G. B. Pant Engineering College, Pauri Garhwal. It is a good government college in the foothills of himalayas. It's been ranked as the 5th most beautiful college campus in India by scoop whoop.
