my jee main CRL rank is 28000 and OBC rank is 6800. I want to build my coding profile, but at this rank I can't get CSE Branch in any Nit (except newer nit), so I have decided that I'll take lower branch in good nit and ll start building my coding profile. please suggest me Nit options with branch.

Hi there,

Congratulations for getting such a good rank. According to your rank you still have chances of getting CSE branch in Csab special rounds of councelling in your home state Nit and may some good Nits too.

But if you don't get CSE you will go with ECE or IT branches as they are very good branches and will be helpful too in building your coding profile.

You can get ECE branch in:

1) Nit Kurukshetra

2) Nit Delhi

3 Nit Jamshedpur

4) Nit Hamirpur

5) Nit patna

6) Your Home state NIT

Also you can change your branch after 1 year in Nit using sliding procedure,but you have to get very good marks in 1 year to be upgraded to CSE branch.
