Getting admission in NITs require general rank below 30000 . It would be safe if you get that. And you may get NITs till 40000 somehow and somewhere. So coming for EWS quota there will be 10% increment in seats.

You do not mention the branch to which you want admission and also state region(home state or other state). But there is a minimum chance to get admission in NITs.
