With your all india rank of 407266 its impossible for you to get into nit trichy even if you might be from homestate category its not possible to get admission into it as nit tricy is one of the most prestigious college in our country so its closing cutoff is also 7000 to 8000 for worst branch .

If you really want to join nit trichy then you should start working hard for next year attempt from now
dont waste your time to get into any useless nits give your best for the next year try hard to get into nit trichy without any compromise .

You are very unlikely to get a seat in any NITs or IIITs, as your rank is way above 1 lakh. Try to apply for private colleges that accept JEE Main scores, or else, drop am year and attempt JEE Main once again. With the right guidance and training, I'm sure you'll be able to make it.

With a rank of around 4,00,000 in the general category, there are no possibilities for procuring a seat in the NIT Trichy. Nit Trichy is one of the top ranked college and closes with a rank of around 6,000 itself. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
