Hello Aspirant! It all depends on your choice and desire of college and branch. Your marks and rank in mains is good but if you aim for getting admission at IIT then you should drop. Or if you wish to study in NIT's or IIIT's and you're getting your desired branch in the counselling then you should take admission without thinking twice as a year waste is a future waste. So think accordingly. If you're getting a good college with a good branch, don't drop.
