Dear Aspirant,

According to past year trends, you do not have any chance of getting a college in JoSAA counseling. For a decent college, your rank(OBC) must be under 15K. Then only you have a chance at a good college in JoSAA counseling.

Hello there,
With a category rank of 279k it is not possible to get admission in jossa or jee counselling. You need atleast within 125-150k to get a seat through jossa conunselling. I would suggest you to write other competitive exams to get into good colleges. You can also write entrance examination held for respective colleges to get admission into it. Good luck.

As you mention that you got 279249 rank in Jee main . It is very large number . As per previous year cut off you might not be getting any college which is listed in josaa . Still you should try for all the round of counseling may some vacant seat of GFTIs you got .

But according to previous year cut off,in Manipur, Sikkim or Goa NIT there are many stream in that rank so??
