You have not mentioned any special category so I'm assuming that you are from general category. So, for general category you JEE - Main rank is low. You might get into any low ranked NIT with a very low demand branch. You can either try in some state government colleges or private universities or you can drop a year and word hard next year and get a better score. With this rank if you are from general category it will be very difficult for you to get a seat in a good NIT. Although in accordance with your home state you may have an advantage. If you are from some other category such as SC or ST then you can have a fairly good chance of getting a NIT. Hope this helps.
