Hello aspirant,

Well everything depends on the category of candidates. Now through CSAB counselling one can get a seat in NITs,IIITs,GFTIs,SFTIs but for that one has to clear the required JEE Main cutoff as per his/her category and be JEE Main qualified. Below I have listed 2019 JEE Main cutoff (percentile) category wise -

  • CRL : 89.75
  • GEN-EWS : 78.21
  • OBC-NCL : 74.31
  • SC : 54.01
  • ST : 44.33
  • PwD : 0.11

So if you have cleared the required cutoff as per your category then you are JEE Main qualified and hence eligible to get a seat through CSAB counselling. Now as per your rank of 115000, it may be hard for you to get a seat in NITs or IIITs. Better attend the counselling process and see which colleges and branch are you getting.

Dear aspirant,
You have only little chance to get an engineering seat in NITs or IIITs. But yeah, you have to participate in the CSAB special round 2019 to get the best seat with your crl rank. But no one can predict the closing ranks. So, once you can check the previous year closing ranks for all NITs and IIITs and fill your choices in the special round counseling of CSAB 2019 then you can get the seat definitely. I will provide one link. You can check the previous year's closing ranks. Here is the link.

Yes you have many choices but you may not get very good NITs and decent branches simultaneously. You have bigger chances for home state colleges. Check this list of 2017 and you can get an idea about closing ranks of various NITs and IIITs.
