With a rank of 8850 through obc category it is difficult to get admission in the top tier NIT in the core branches. You can get admission in mid tier NIT such as :

• NIT Hamirpur
• NIT Srinagar
• NIT Puducherry
• NIT Agartala
• NIT Silchar
• NIT Surat
• NIT Raipur
• NIT Arunachal Pradesh
• NIT Mizoram
• NIT Manipur

You can also get into various IIIT colleges. Based on your rank you can also try getting admission in state colleges where jee main percentile is considered for admission. If you want a specific seat with lower rank you can go through management quota.
