Kiit has advanced it's rankings in the nirf as well as in the TIMES world rankings of universities.

It's not a bad college but in terms of quality of education , it lacks a lot.

Students mostly end up in it companies after studying from here(often with low salaries)

I would suggest if you are not getting any nits, vit or bits, srm only then think of kiit.

If you are a localite staying in Bhubaneswar then you can save the hostel fees by being a day scholar .

Decide accordingly

Hope it helps

Dear reader,

KIIT counselling has always witnessed students opting for branches such that Computer Science engineering,Information Technology and Electronics and Telecommunications being opted by maximum students. So,naturally these branches gets filled up at the earliest.

As per you question,Electrical Engineering remains a choice for you even if you have scored above 25k in your KIITEE(which was the case in counselling in 2k17).So,if you are really focused in this branch and most importantly do not rely on CORE branch placements in KIIT,then you may proceed with the same.

Good Luck!
