If you want to go for private institute near your region then SRM & VIT are good

If you in Chennai you can go for 2 famous institutes.
SRM or VIT.
Either of them is good. Otherwise you can try for IIT MADRAS.
or you can go for some famous State colleges.

Well, btevh with it branch is a good choice.

You have variety of options.
If you want to study in a.private Institute then ni doubt VIT, and SRM would be good to study in your own state.

Otherwise IITs and NITS are best.
That would require little hard labour and efforts.
