Hey Uma, With a score of 455 in NEET 2025 under General category, the chances of getting a BHMS seat in government colleges through All India Quota (AIQ) are quite limited, because cutoff for government homeopathy colleges under AIQ usually goes higher (generally above 500+ for unreserved category). However, you should not lose hope because state quota cutoffs are comparatively lower. In many states, candidates with scores around 430–470 have secured BHMS seats in government or semi-government colleges under state quota OBC/General seats depending on availability and reservation policy.

Apart from that, you also have a good chance in private BHMS colleges or deemed universities, where the cutoff is usually lower than government institutions. My suggestion would be to carefully check your state counseling rounds, because the chances are stronger there as compared to AIQ. Also keep an eye on mop-up rounds, as seats do open up when higher rankers move to MBBS/BDS. In summary, through AIQ it will be difficult, but through state quota and private institutes, you have a decent probability of getting a BHMS seat.

Hello! With 455 marks in NEET under the General category, getting a BHMS seat in an all India government college can be a bit challenging because cutoffs for AYUSH government colleges through the All India Quota are usually higher. However, you may still have chances in some government or semi-government BHMS colleges through the state quota depending on your state’s cutoff trends. It’s advisable to participate in both AIQ and state counselling rounds.

With a NEET score of 455 in the general category, getting admission in an all-India government BHMS college might be challenging, as the typical cutoff for BHMS government colleges usually ranges much higher around 490 to 510 marks for general category candidates in 2025.

While 455 is above the qualifying cutoff, government seats tend to demand higher scores due to competition. However, some state quota seats or less competitive government colleges may have slightly lower cutoffs, so admission could be possible in certain cases.

Hello Uma

With a NEE score of 455 and being from general category, you have a fair chance of getting a BHMS seat in a government college as the cutoff for general category for BHMS has been  around 450 - 510 marks and your marks of 455 just fall in that range so there is some chance.

Thank You!!!
