Hello Madhu,

You didn't mention the course which you are asking about. If you are asking about MBBS/BDS in a government medical then it's a no. But if you are seeking admission in the AYUSH courses then you would surely get a seat .You might also get a seat in the private/deemed universities if you are interested in it  .

All the best for your future.

Hello Madhu,
With a score of 368/ 720 it's a really difficult to get a MBBS seat even though you have a obc reservation.
Still here's a list of few colleges in Karnataka where you can admission under 85% state qouta. This is according to last year's cutoff list.
  • Raichur institute of medical Sciences, Raichur- 134520AIR- 338 MARKS
  • ESIC medical college, Gulbarg- 116053 AIR - 355 marks
  • Gulbarg institute of medical Sciences, kulbargi-  124890 AIR- 347 marks
  • Gadag institute of medical Sciences, gadag- 129691 AIR- 343 marks
I hope this helps.
All the best for the future!!

Hey Madhu,

With 368 marks in NEET this year, there wouldn't be much of a chance for you to get admission in Karnataka, even though you are from OBC category. However, you can look at the careers360's NEET college predictor, which can help you find the colleges you can get into, it would be really helpful for you. Here's the link :-

Hello Madhu,

As per the previous year cutoff trends, under the All India Quota category, there are barely any cutoffs for OBC category candidates. From the one or two that are mentioned, the scores range usually from 500-560. So under the AIQ, you don't seem to have any chance in Govt Medical Colleges in Karnataka.

However, you can apply under state quota seats for your domicile state in Government medical colleges. There, your state rank will be considered as there is 85% reservation in the govt colleges for State candidates of any particular state.

All the Best!

Hey,

according to your score and category you don’t have any chance in a government medical college as your score is not that good. But you can get in private colleges. But the problem is that the fee is very high there. So if you can afford it you should go for private college.
