Please mention the name of the exam you are asking for?

If you are applying for JEE Main you have to apply for OBC-NCL category you have to produce original certificate issued by the competent authority which is applicable centrally at the time of Seat Allocation Process as well as at the time of admission. 

State list OBC Candidates who are not in OBC – NCL central list must choose General category.
