Belonging to the OBC category definitely gives you more advantage over general category students as the cut-off for OBC category students is lower in all colleges all over India.

You have not mentioned the college that you are interested or the course/field that you wish to pursue. Tiu also have not mentioned the exam that you had given in which yiu scored this rank.
