Last years State general merit rank for IT branch in D. Y. Patil for home university student was around 23000 and for other university was around 12000.

I would suggest you go through the last year cutoffs of the first round of CAP Process on the following link.

Make sure you look for proper cutoffs according to Quota (General-G, State-S, TFWS, etc), category (Open, OBC, SC, ST, etc) & also according to the university.

Also, the cutoffs vary for all branches.

This will give you a clear idea about your desired college.
