With 41.2%, it seems that it'll be very hard to get into a good college for BA, B.Com (//B.Com) or B.Sc. This is because colleges now demand a minimum of 60% aggregate in the 12th Board exams. This is for General Category, for SC/ST it's 55% aggregate.

You may ask in your local/community college for admissions, there's no harm in it. One of my friends did her BA from a local college, today she is a teacher in a reputed CBSE Board school.

Do not be disheartened by it, work for your future and don't leave any stone unturned. All the best!
