Hello aspirant,

Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest branches of Engineering that deals with machines.  It is branch of Engineering that combines physics and Mathematical principles with material science .

To be a mechanical engineer, it is mandatory to complete a four year course in Bachelor in technology (B.Tech) in mechanical engineering.

Before doing B.Tech,
-> After completing your 10th, Write entrance exam for polytechnic. And choose mechanical branch, Then you can pursue a three year diploma course in mechanical engineering from polytechnic Colleges, And write the entrance exam for B.Tech and choose mechanical engineering branch.

(OR)

-> After completing your 10th, You can complete your intermediate with (PCM) and write the entrance exam for B.Tech and choose mechanical engineering branch.

After B.Tech :-
--> To advance in your career, you can write entrance exam for M.TECH, pursue your master's in Mechanical engineering (M.Tech), which is a two year course.

- You can develop your experience via internships during your B.Tech days.
