Congratulations on bagging such a great rank in in JEE mains. Now according to your choice of branch it would be a little difficult to get one in a good NIT like NIT Trichi, or NIT Warangal. Or some others like that.

If we face the fact then you must know that the CSE branch in top NITs gets filled up in top 5-10k ranks.
Although some NITs which do come at the lower rankings are suitable with your rank for getting a CSE seat.

But those NITs are not very good in case of location. So now I leave that decision onto you. You can either take another branch Instead of CSE in good NITs or you can take CSE branch in low ranking NITs. You may also check on some private colleges if you are fine with that. They will be more than willing to provide you with a good seat of CSE department.

NIITs have very high cutoff nearly 95 percentile above. Also tge rank needed is below 10000-15000 . But still you have decent chamce to get an NIIT . But CS as a branch is a bit too tough. But you can try at the time of counseling.

Hi ! No you can't get cs branch in top nits. You can get cs now only in nit Manipur, nit Jharkhand, and in nit Meghalaya. To get cs in top nits you must acquire a rank within 4k-5k. So hope you understand and best of luck to you. Given below a link will be useful for you.
