Hello, if you want to get into top nits you won't get branches like cse/ece/eee. But you can try for other nits like bhopal, jalandhar, jaipur. On further rounds of counselling you may even have a chance to get into jamshedpur, durgapur too.

I am really sorry to say but with 16800 rank in JEE Mains OBC-EWS Category, you can't get a seat in any of the NIT, IIIT or GFTI, not even the lowest branches or lowest colleges since the last closing rank is around 8000-9000 for OBC EWS.

You can get top NITs, though you might not get a branch of your choice. Some of the NITs that you might get are:

• NIT Warangal
• NIT Rourkela
• NIT Trichy
• NIT Kurukshetra
• NIT Jamshedpur
• VNIT Nagpur
