First thing the admission in the NIT also depends on the category to which you belong as there is differnt cut off for general or SC/ST category. As the cut off is not announced yet, so to determine your branch in the desired college can be determined by 2018 cut off

The following points will be taken into consideration for the NITs Cutoff for B.Tech Computer Science Engineering.

Number of applicants of the examination

Performance analysis of the applicants.

Number of questions asked in the examination.

Previous Year’s cutoff trends

Difficulty level of the examination.

You can get CSE branch in

• NIT Agartala'
• NIT Arunachal pradesh
• NIT Andhra Pradesh
• NIT Meghalaya
• NIT Mizoram
• NIT Nagaland

You can get ECE branch in NIT Jamshedpur and IT branch in NIT Raipur.
