The cut off about which you are talking about is not the cut off jee mains. It is the cut off for the eligibility for writing jee advanced. As you are from Gujarat, you have a little chance of getting a seat in nit surat in 5 year m.sc course in chemitry department through home state quota in special rounds. Last year closing rank for this branch in special round-II was 3,04,564.
