Depends on what you want. This year in phase 2 counselling for ranks from 20-35k, All the categories for computer, mechanical and IT have been filled. While electronics and comm, Electrical electronics, electronics instrumentation are nearly filled only cat 4 is left. Rest are available. In 68k you might get biotech,civil,industrial. But in Chennai campus you can easily get electrical in category 2 or 3.
