If you want to seek admission to engineering colleges, then you need to appear for entrance examination either conducted nationally/state level/the institution you want to appear in. Thus you should register for some of the examination and based on the rank you get in the examination, you will have to appear for counselling then you can get a seat in engineering. with your boards results you can take admission in pure sciences or applied sciences such as BSc Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/Economics/Statistics etc.

but their are some college which reserve seats for class 12 results the college like jiit etc
