Hi Lora, there is no NIT in Mumbai but present in Maharastra called VNIT Nagpur.if you score 170 marks in jee-main then you would get admission in VNIT Nagpur if your domicile is Maharashtra mean home state quota is included in the ranking.

One thing,12th % are imp or not ? Can we get any advantages from 12th % for NIT CLG ?

Sorry but this year they not take 12th marks.so if you get above 75% then it's enough for you to get NIT/IIT for entrance in the college's.

And one more thing with 101 marks your cousin get NIT but branch may vary because it's less marks in general category.

But in jee website ,there is a mention that at the time of cnclig 12th marks will add in jee main score.
