Since you are very consious about your future. If you haev given JEE main exam and scored a good score above than cutoff then you can simply gain a seat in NIT or IIIT
But there are many other good private colleges which are always open for the students having good JEE score and offer good scholorship to their students You can give a try to them
Or else you can try your luck with other entrance exams if already given wait for thier cutoff as only IIT is not the last option for engineering
OR you can wait for 1 year and prepare yourself so that you can get into a Good IIT
