My session for BSc was 2016-2019, but University held the final year examination on January 2020. There was no backlog but the university session was 1 year late. what should i write in my passing year?

If your B.Sc. was in 2016–2019, but the final year exams were held in January 2020 due to a delay, then your actual passing year should be mentioned as 2020 — since that’s when your final result was officially declared by the university.

Universities and application forms generally consider the year of result declaration or final exam completion as the passing year, even if your course session started earlier.
