Yes, from the last year the seats for bams,bhms,etc; are also filled through neet scores itself.

So, to get a seat in any paramedical field one has to appears in neet exams.

Also, there is a age limit criteria too for the candidates to appear in this exam.

#age limit:- 17-25 years for UR category candidates & 17-30 years for reserved category candidates.

So, anyone below or above this age limit cannot sit for the exam.

NEET is national eligibility cum entrance exam for students who wish of Gettting admission in medical colleges for MBBS ,BDS,BHMS,bams and bums like fields. And admission in colleges for these fields is entirely based on your marks of NEET exams and without that you can't get a seat in medical college.
