According to the eligibility criteria for taking admission in nits ; IIITs; IIT and other GFTI s she have to secure 75% + marks in 12 th boards or be in top 20 percentile of your boards.
If you are saying that 82 is her boards percentile ; than definitely she will get a good nits ( like kurukshetra ; Allahabad ; Jaipur ; Raipur ; etc.)
But if 82 is her jee mains percentile than you are mistaken ( because at this percentile 6417 rank is not possible ) and also not possible to get admission in good nits.
