Hey,
If your percentage is not 75 percent then you wont be getting NIT irrespective of your jee mains, even if your jee mains percentile is good enough they'll be worthless for you getting government college but you can go for top private institutions with your desired branch . If you wanna check for previous year cutoffs of NIT on the following link
