Hello sir,
Congragulations!!Your son has scored an amazing rank ,you must be really proud about him obviously.
Just as the other parents if you are not sure about colleges your son can enroll in ,then I could have helped you with a college predictor.
but,There's is no predictor as such but if you check out with your friends who've given the paper, you'll be able to analyse this.
Any score above 195 is decent in the JEE mains paper 2.
To get into less popular College like NIT Patna, NIT Nagpur etc, a score of 210 will absolutely do. A score from 210–230 can get you a rank 3000 to 5000.
To get into colleges like SPA Vijayawada, Jamia Millia, CCA, NIT Rourkela, NIT Calicut, NIT Harimpur, a score of 230 will definitely do. A score of 230 can get you into the top 3000 ranks
B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN
To get into NIT Bhopal, NIT Jaipur, BIT Meara, SPA Bhopal, a score 250 above will definitely do. A score of 250 will get you into the top 1500 rank.
To get into SPA Delhi or NIT Trichy, a core 260–270 is perfect. It'll get you a top 500 rank.
If you have reservation, then you can decrease 20 marks and increase the rank by a few hundreds. You're lucky if you have reservation.
There's is no predictor for JEE mains paper 2 but this is how people have actually got in their exams.
The EWS category does not help you during the alotment of colleges but might actually help you during joining the college to enable a small concession in the fees of your ward.
I hope this might help.
All the best ,sir!! I wish your son a wonderful future ahead!
Good Luck!!
