Yes, He has a very good chance with that score in CAT. But getting a call depends on a variety of factors like Acads(10/12/Grad) and Work Ex also. So if he has good Acads, then call is sure but if Acads are below average then it becomes a border case.

IIMVisakhapatnam Cutoff 2018: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam has announced its cutoff for admission to Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP) for 2018-20 batch. As per IIM Visakhapatnam cutoff 2018, the overall cutoff percentile for general category is 90 percentile while that for NC OBC and SC is 75 and 60 respectively. The overall IIM Visakhapatnam cutoff for ST and PWD category students is 50 percentile each. The business school will prepare the first shortlist of candidates based on CAT 2017 percentile.
