Thapar University accepts lateral entries (direct admission in 2nd year) in Computer science engineering in Patiala campus and Dera Bassi campus. And candidate must be a student of BE/BTech programme of a recognized university and has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks in 12th class. For same, Thapar University conducted entrance exam name: LEET (Lateral entry entrance test) and according to the score/rank candidates are alloted seats directly in second year.
