Dear aspirant,

First off all the board exam scores and JEE Mains scores are excellent.

With 197 marks, he has a very good chance of getting 99+ percentile . This percentile can fetch him a rank around 6 K .

Marks versus percentile

He has an excellent chance of getting EEE, Mechanical, Civil, ECE (a small chance) in NIT Trichy .

He has a very good chance of getting top NITs even though getting CSE in top NIT is slightly difficult.

He can get CSE in NIT Calicut, MNIT Allahabad, NIT Meghalaya and Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal

He has a good chance of getting CSE in SASTRA, Amrita (if you are opting to get in via JEE Mains stream)

These predictions are made based on the previous year trends and hence is subject to change based on the number of students attempting the exam, the difficulty level of the paper, the preference of the students etc.
