See the rank ur son has secured is good enough for him to bag a seat in the CSE branch in the Vellore campus of VIT to pursue his higher studies in the field of his interest under btech courses. He can also apply for the Chennai campus for that.

Hi sir.Yes there are chances of getting cse branch in vellore campus for the rank which your son has secured.But I donot say that he is going to get it in the first category itself.Because every year the trend changes.Sometimes cse will get closed even for a small rank and sometimes it extends to higher ranks.But if we  consider an overall view your son may get cse in vit vellore.
