Hello Sir

Yeah definitely he will able to take the admission in NIT via JEE mains score ,.the overseas students are also allowed to take the admission , since currently he has done his both class 11th and 12th from India then I don't think so it will be a problematic for him inorder to get into the NIT.

But when i applied for JEE Main exam in jan 2019 , the online application form mentioned that OCI candidates cannot take JEE route to NIT, but YES for IIT after getting through JEE advance. Can you please throw light on how certain you are on your above answer. Can you refer me to some authorized web reference.

Hello Sir,

Yeah definitely OCI candidate are eligible for getting into the NIT / IIT. The seat alloted to them will be under General Category list.
