My son is expecting score of 400 in NEET UG. What are chances of getting open merit seat (UR category) in MSRIMS? Karnataka domicile student

Hello sir,

Usually students don't get government medical college with 400 belonging to UR category but since he's from Karnataka he might get a few. Karnataka has a wide range of cut off trends.

Last year, few colleges like Hassan Institute of medical sciences, Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences, ESIC Medical College, Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences and etc gave admission to students scoring less that 400 in UR Category. The least marks considered was 368 by Kodogu Institute of Medical Sciences.

This year the cut offs are expected to increase since the paper was easier than last year. Still don't lost hope, apply for the state counseling. He might make it to one
