The various entrance examinations for 6th across India are:

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Examination

AISSEE

Telangana Model Schools CET

And the applications of all these exams have been closed. Unfortunately, you might have missed a chance for this year. You might have to consider 7th class entrance exams for your son next year.
