According to your mentioned rank his general category rank will be around 2.71lakh,  he has negligible chances of qualifying for JEE advanced and getting any NITs or GFITs. However he might get top private engineering colleges through JEE main or management quota.

According to your percentile your category rank would be around 310k-360k(by careers360 rank predictor).But this percentile is not sufficient to fetch a seat in Nits/Iiit/gfti.still you have a chance to get into Nits,prepare well for april exam. As there is less time you should work smart. Prepare a schedule as per the known weightages and work evenly for the 3 subjects. Prepare short notes for chemistry from ncert. Also prepare a formulas list for maths and physics. Time management is also an important thing,so work on the practice papers within the given time. Maintain a error notes where you should note all your errors so that it will be useful for revision

Hello, As you are from general category and general category cutoff was around 110-120 Marks so you won't be able to get government colleges in your state or in any other state.  Irrespective of that you can opt for good and top private colleges in the state you belongs to.
