After getting JEE Main ranks,  apply through OJEE for admissions into VSSUT Sambalpur. These are the opening (OR) and closing (CR) ranks  for round 1 admissions of 2017 . 

 Computer Science and Engineering – OR :51,587 , CR: 598,591

Electrical Engineering - OR:  91,961 , CR : 794,017

Production Engineering - OR :239,889  , CR : 662,113 

 Information Technology - OR :88,345 , CR : 802,014

For Mechanical branch a rank between 60k and 70k could easily bag a seat . And it applies to both general and obc , since there is no obc quota in Odisha system. So chances of getting Mechanical branch in vss burla with a rank of 224804 are bleak .
